Once again a lovely event.

Glendale Spring Fest 09

Rainy day today. It turned out ok though, but a little windy. The rain made everything a little soggy. We done ok. I have some pictures to upload soon.

KY Crafted The Market

We attended Ky Crafted The Market today, and wasn't impressed. There were some high quality artists but most if not all had high quality prices as well. I understand some of the costs that goes into some of the items for sale and I now understand what a starving artist is. I just can't see paying $450 for a necklace, come on artists get real. There were many jewelers, potters, and woodworkers mainly with others sprinkled throughout, that was the feel anyway that we got. Not to mention that we had to pay $5, $8 but there was a $3 OFF coupon, for each person and then $6 for parking. So before we even entered the door we chucked out $16, so get some artist with some reasonable prices that normal people can afford; Please.

We have learned so very much from friends in the craft circuit, time saving, money saving, friend saving things. I have found that it's better to share with other artist as opposed to protecting the info, as we have gained much more from sharing.
